FDI Center will be in Phoenix, Arizona for the International Economic Development Council’s (IEDC) annual Leadership Summit from February 4 to 6. The IEDC Leadership Summit is one of three annual conferences that the IEDC hosts. It is exclusive to economic development executives and Certified Economic Developers, with programming specifically tailored to the needs and challenges of those leading the profession.
FDI Center’s managing director, Andreas Dressler, will be moderating the session “How to Attract Foreign Direct Investment – Best Practices and Where to Start” on February 6. In this session, attendees will gain a practical understanding of the strategies and activities that work best to attract FDI by drawing on real-world experiences. The session will also explore how to build an FDI attraction strategy that aligns with an investment promotion agency’s objectives and available resources.
This year’s Leadership Summit will center on the theme ‘Driving Global Collaboration,’ focusing on international partnerships and coalitions to address shared challenges from climate change and resiliency to food security and sustainability.
