On 22nd June, FDI Center’s Managing Director, Andreas Dressler was in Warsaw to participate in the CEE Summit, the CEE region’s premier real estate event. The summit aims to bring together international investors and local decision makers to discuss the latest developments in the region and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. 

As part of the event, Andreas was a guest speaker on the panel “Transition to Real FDI – Locations & Opportunities in Real Assets”. The panel brought together international experts in FDI, Polish Investment and Trade Agency and private sector representatives. They discussed the importance of ESG, the connection between real assets and investment promotion, real estate investment opportunities within Poland as well as FDI drivers and trends within the CEE region. Notably, Andreas spoke on the impact of reshoring (otherwise known as nearshoring) and how diversification and regionalisation of supply chains can lead to new investments, for example, in Poland.
