On 20th September at 3pm (CEST), we will be joined by Marina Lamptey, Head of Diaspora Relations at Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) for an interview on: Cultivating investments through diaspora relations.
In her role as Head of Diaspora Relations, Marina is spearheading the coordination and dissemination of information to the diaspora community regarding investment prospects in Ghana. She is also a staunch advocate for women and girls’ rights and is deeply committed to empowering them to achieve their full potential. With a strong passion for international human rights, trade, and investments, she leverages her skills to promote, attract, and connect the diaspora community with investment opportunities in Ghana.
We’ll be asking Marina questions related to the role of diaspora in investment attraction, effective ways of engaging with the diaspora and identifying relevant decision makers as well as how gender equality manifests itself within GIPC’s work. The interview is expected to last approximately 30 minutes and will be livestreamed via LinkedIn. To watch the interview, please join the event on LinkedIn here.
This interview is the fifth interview of a monthly repeating interview series as part of the Towards Gender Equality in FDI initiative. Every month, female guest speakers will be invited to speak about a particular aspect of foreign direct investment and investment promotion. These very practical conversations will highlight best practices and explore the intersection of FDI and gender equality.
