On June 7-8, FDI Center will take part in WhySummits’ Future of Ukraine Summit in Berlin. The conference intends to bring together key stakeholders to discuss ideas that will define Ukraine’s economic rebound, all the while providing a platform to assist Ukrainian technologically oriented, visionary startups in obtaining international funding and market access.
Director, Dr. Kim J. Zietlow will be a keynote speaker, delivering a presentation titled “Inside the Investor’s Mindset: A Corporate Perspective on FDI Attraction”. The presentation will discuss the crucial role of carefully listening to investors and understanding their most critical concerns and objectives.
He will also participate in a panel discussion on “Economic Diplomacy: How to Turn the Goodwill That Ukraine Has Earned into Investments?”. Kim as well as two other panellists will discuss how attracting foreign investments will be instrumental both in Ukraine’s post-war recovery as well as in the country’s integration to the European community, what actions, solutions and ways of thinking are needed to promote local business opportunities and how to harness international investment to drive sustainable growth and development.
The conference will provide a unique opportunity for Ukrainian startups to enter a competition and if successful, attend the conference for free, pitch in front of investors and potentially gain funding. To apply fill in the form on their site and quote ‘FDI Center’ in the ‘How did you get to know about the conference?’ field. The full agenda of the summit can be viewed here.
