The Asia-Pacific Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Network aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and experiences on FDI policy and promotion in the region. Organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), the 8th meeting of the FDI Network will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on September 25 and 26, 2018.

FDI Center’s Managing Director Andreas Dressler will be presenting as part of the session on “attracting sustainable FDI in strategic sectors”, which will examine challenges and best practices for attracting FDI to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the region with a focus on priority sectors. Andreas will outline practical approaches for investment promotion agencies to incorporate sustainability considerations in their foreign direct investment attraction efforts and activities.
