FDI Center’s Sebastian Reil and Sidan Raeskyesa were invited by the Kiel Center for Globalization, part of the Kiel Institute for The World Economy, to participate in a workshop on special economic zone (SEZ) research. The workshop was part of a project to study the contribution of special economic zones to foreign direct investment attraction, economic equality, and development in Ghana, India, Vietnam, and Indonesia. New research findings were presented and discussed by the participants.
