FDI Center hosted a panel discussion on “The role of special and industrial zones in the economic recovery”. The panelists included representatives of leading zones in emerging markets across the world: Preston Mendenhall, Executive Vice President at Rendeavour in Africa; Ross Jones, Project Manager at Great Stone Industrial Park in Belarus; Martin Dovat, General Manager at Zonamerica in Uruguay; and Bruno Jaspaert General Director at DEEP C Industrial Zones in Vietnam.

The discussion provided timely and practical advice on how zones are continuing to attract FDI despite the economic downturn and can contribute to the wider economic recovery in their countries.
