FDI Center’s managing director, Andreas Dressler, held a digital workshop on developing an FDI attraction strategy at the Annual Investment Meeting Eurasia conference. The workshop covered a range of topics, including the components of a successful investment attraction strategy, key performance indicators for assessing FDI attraction activities, the importance of involving stakeholders in developing the strategy as well as advice for communicating and monitoring the strategy. Using examples from leading investment promotion agencies from around the world, the workshop providing participants with practical knowledge on how to build a robust and successful strategy for attracting foreign direct investment. The workshop was attended by representatives of investment promotion agencies and government officials responsible for attracting investment from a number of countries in the Eurasia region.
