On March 7th, FDI Center together with AZFA (Free Trade Zones Association of the Americas) hosted a webinar on global foreign direct investment trends and the implications for attracting investment to Latin America. The webinar covered global FDI trends including changes in geographical investment flows, the types of projects locating in different areas of the world, current drivers of FDI and the impact of new technologies such as automation on investment. The webinar also focused on investment into Latin America and addressed the impact of global trends on the FDI attraction strategies of Latin American investment promotion agencies and free zones. More than 60 people from 15 different countries participated the webinar. The video is available here.
