The first edition of the Advanced Foreign Direct Investment Leadership Programme took place from November 22 to 25, 2021 at the University of Cambridge. Organized jointly by FDI Center and the Møller Institute, the FDI Leadership Programme is the world’s only academically certified program for senior investment promotion professionals. The first cohort included participants from the UK, Australia, Netherlands, India and other countries who learnt about key trends affecting corporate investment and the approaches required for investment promotion agencies and their leaders to be competitive and successfully attract investment.

FDI Center is responsible for overall project design and FDI Center’s managing director, Andreas Dressler, delivered several sessions on global FDI trends, developing a successful investment attraction strategy and structuring investment promotion activities. The faculty for the programme includes representatives of Unilever, Shell, DHL and the OECD, professors from the University of Cambridge, and senior leaders of other investment promotion agencies. The course will be held at least twice in 2022, with the next dates scheduled for March 21 to 24.
