FDI Center will be hosting two webinars this September to kick off our Towards Gender Equality in FDI initiative. The initiative will provide practical knowledge and tools for IPAs to create opportunities for female leaders within their own organizations while contributing to greater gender equality and societal benefits through the investment they attract.

Webinar #1: how can IPAs create an environment that supports and develops female leadership? 

This webinar will take place on the 15th September 15:00 CET and you can register to attend for free here.

The event will feature success stories from female leaders within the field of investment promotion as well as highlighting the strengths diversity brings at leadership level. Additionally, it will also feature a discussion on what investment promotion agencies can do to develop an environment in which female talent can develop and be successful within an IPA.  

Webinar #2: how can IPAs contribute to gender equality through the investment they attract?

This webinar will take place on the 26th September 15:00 CET and you can register to attend for free here.

IPAs are placing greater emphasis on attracting foreign direct investment that contributes to achieving the sustainable development goals, which include greater gender equality (SDG 5). The webinar will provide examples of how countries have successfully used FDI to contribute to gender equality and other sustainability objectives.  

The respective panels will feature a number of female leaders in investment promotion and industry experts and will be moderated by FDI Center. More details about the events and the panellists can be found on LinkedIn or on the registration pages.
