FDI Center and gwSaar, the economic development organization for the state of Saarland, in the south-west of Germany, will co-host a panel discussion and networking event at Hannover Messe in April. The event will take place on April 24, at 11:00 at Saarland’s booth at Hannover Messe (Hall 2, Stand B10). The panel discussion will address the topic “Sustainable Site Selection: Balancing Availability and Environmental Impact in European Investment Projects”.
This panel will delve into the challenges of selecting sustainable sites for investment projects in Europe. Topics include the current state of site availability, the importance of eco-friendly land use, the role of investment agencies, strategies for balancing availability and sustainability, challenges faced, and successful case studies, including brownfield redevelopment projects.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Andreas Schindler, Consultant at FDI Center. Joining him on the panel will be Raphaela Adam, Director of Relocation and Consulting at gwSaar, Danielius Asipavičius, Investment Advisor at Invest Lithuania and Heini Wallander Team leader, Industrial Excellence at Business Tampere. The discussion is expected to last around 45 minutes and be followed by a networking session with drinks and finger food.
