FDI Center and ANIMA Investment Network, the cooperation network for economic development of the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, are hosting their second joint webinar together on July 10 at 11:00 (CEST). The webinar will be based upon the topic “AI and Innovation in Regional Value Chains” across the Mediterranean region.
This session will address how AI and digitalization are reshaping global investment flows and how countries across both shores of the Mediterranean and position themselves within emerging value chains such as healthtech, agri-tech, and logistics. While Northern Mediterranean countries often host more mature tech ecosystems, their Southern counterparts offer scale, youthful talent, and dynamic growth.
The webinar will last approximately one hour and discuss the following:
- How countries are attracting FDI in AI and digital technologies
- Strategies to position themselves as regional AI and tech hubs
- The use of AI and digital tools in investment promotion
- Opportunities for cross-border collaboration to build innovation ecosystems
