FDI Center’s managing director Andreas Dressler held a presentation to key business stakeholders in the Copenhagen region, including mayors and senior government officials, corporate executives and representatives of industry associations. The more than 100 participants were meeting to discuss changes in Denmark’s public funding system for economic development and innovation. Andreas Dressler’s presentation, entitled “Global competition for investment: the role of metropolitan areas” provided an overview of how cities worldwide compete for high quality investment and what governments should do to develop a successful FDI attraction strategy and strengthen their location’s ability to attract investment.
FDI Center will moderate two sessions at the ASEAN Investment Forum 2025 on October 24 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
