FDI Center’s managing director Andreas Dressler ran a 2-day training program on FDI attraction and facilitation. Held in Dubai on April 5 and 6, 2019, the course was part of the FDI Excellence Series that FDI Center is delivering in cooperation with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies. The course was attended by representatives of investment promotion agencies (IPAs) from several countries in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia. The program also featured presentations by management of the IPAs of Dubai, Chile and Brazil as well as senior decision makers from Huawei Technologies and Johnson & Johnson. Participants in the training learnt how to develop FDI attraction strategies and value propositions that reflect the location requirements of companies in specific target groups.
