Interview with Vasso Kyrkou on marketing for small IPAs: doing more with less resources

On November 12, FDI Center will hold an interview with Vasso Kyrkou, Director General of Communications, Marketing & Stakeholder Relations at Enterprise Greece on Marketing for IPAs: Doing more with less.   

This interview will focus on marketing fundamentals and best practices for small investment promotion agencies. The conversation will cover topics from building a place brand and crafting meaningful partnerships to implementing marketing practices that support the investor journey and project pipeline. Vasso will also share how Enterprise Greece integrates gender equality into their outreach and programs. 

The interview will take place at 15:00 (UTC+1) and is expected to last around 30 minutes.

Vasso is a seasoned executive specializing in strategic communications, nation branding, and international investment promotion. As Director General at Enterprise Greece, she leads the agency’s global positioning efforts, directing campaigns that elevate Greece’s profile as a competitive and reliable destination for foreign direct investment. Her work has been instrumental in shaping Greece’s narrative around innovation, sustainability, and regional leadership in Southeastern Europe. Vasso brings deep expertise in territorial marketing and strategic storytelling, leveraging place-based branding to attract long-term, impact-driven capital. 

She also serves as President of Trade Promotion Europe (TPE), a pan-European network of 33 national and regional trade and investment organizations. In this role, she advocates for coordinated EU action to boost the global visibility of European SMEs and promote a unified investment promotion agenda. Vasso is also the Vice Chairman of ANIMA Investment Network.
