AIM Congress will host its annual conference on April 6 – 9 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As part of FDI Center’s strategic knowledge partnership with AIM Congress, we will be hosting a workshop and speaking on two panels during the event.
On April 6, FDI Center will host a workshop on ‘Crafting attractive investment-ready projects for global investors’. This session will be delivered by FDI Center colleagues Nada Snoussi, Konstantin Jannone and Andreas Dressler. It will take place at 14:30-16:00 in Capital Suite 14.
This 90-minute session will cover the role of IPAs in crafting and delivering a successful investment-ready project. From identification to implementation, participants will learn how to source, vet, and present projects that meet the high standards of international investors. This workshop will also cover key topics such as investors’ needs and requirements, and how to identify, contact and engage with potential investors. As a result of this workshop attendees will gain practical tools and strategies to position their projects as attractive and viable.
This workshop is free to attend for attendees of the conference and is most suitable for investment promotion agencies seeking to enhance their capacity to attract and secure investors for their investment-ready projects.
On April 7 at 16:30 – 17:00, Andreas will speak on the session ‘Resilient Manufacturing: Reimagining Supply Chains for a Disrupted World’. This event is part of the Global Manufacturing track. This discussion will explore how geopolitical conflicts, pandemics, and climate change are reshaping global supply chains. This discussion will cover the role of AI, IoT, and blockchain in enhancing resilience, the shift toward regionalization and nearshoring, and the importance of sustainability and collaboration. The panellists will offer insights into proactive, tech-driven strategies to future-proof supply chains and sustain global manufacturing momentum.
On April 8 at 10:50 – 11:30, Andreas will moderate the panel discussion ‘Building Regional Investment Strategies: A Step-by-Step Approach for Investors’ on the conference’s FDI track. This interactive panel discussion will offer a detailed roadmap for building effective regional investment strategies. Attendees will learn how to assess regional economic indicators, identify high-potential markets, and align investment strategies with regional trends. The session will cover risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and navigating local regulatory frameworks. This session will help investors with actionable insights and practical tools to build robust regional investment strategies.
