FDI Center’s Paola Suarez Buhrmann was invited by the African Economic Zone Organization (AEZO) to moderate the online panel discussion “Improving investment conditions to accelerate Economic Zones’ development”. The event was organized by the AEZO in partnership with the Luanda-Bengo SEZ. Participants included the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and representatives of local investors. The event was attended by approximately 150 participants and provided insights into current FDI trends globally and in Africa, with a special emphasis on the role of Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
