FDI Center was invited by the International Trade Center (ITC) and the German Development Institute (DEI) to participate in the workshop on concrete measures to facilitate the flow of sustainable FDI held on March 11, 2020. The event was attended by WTO delegates, government officials, and selected FDI experts from the private sector and international organizations, including the World Bank, the World Economic Forum, and the OECD.

FDI Center’s Sebastian Reil provided a practical perspective on investment facilitation and shared insights on the most promising investment facilitation measures. The insights gained from the workshop are aimed to support the negotiations of an international investment facilitation agreement at the WTO.
